The 𝐂𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐚 𝐙𝐃𝐒-𝟓 road-rail vehicle will join the Trakcja System machinery fleet. The equipment will be ready by the end of 2024.
The 𝐂𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐚 𝐙𝐃𝐒-𝟓 four-axle road-rail overhead contact line installation vehicle is a compact version of a maintenance train providing much greater flexibility in moving and getting to the work area.
Thanks to the swivelling rear rail car, the vehicle can “re-rail” at level crossings.
With its equipment, the vehicle combines the features of several machines:
- aerial work platform,
- crane,
- a working platform for the construction of traction and other equipment on the railway lane,
- hydraulic overhead line positioning corrector,
- vehicle for overhead contact line position measurements.
The vehicle is equipped with a low-emission internal combustion engine built to Euro 6 standard, and the low fuel consumption compared to locomotives results in a significant reduction in operating costs.
